Community of Hope, Montgomery, Alabama, 1 Male, 1 Female Needed

Community of Hope is a ministry that seeks to reach unchurched people by sharing God’s love and
attempting to meet some of their physical needs.  Students will learn to share their faith through a
variety of ways.  Their awareness of poverty and spiritual needs will increase, and they will be
encouraged to follow God’s will in their lives.  Summer missionaries will be organizing and conducting
day camps and will help to enlist local churches to help with the Community of Hope’s food closet.
NAMB provides roundtrip transportation, supplemental insurance, and an honorarium.
The local field provides: food, housing, local transportation, and supervision.

Tongass Baptist Association is planted in the midst of massive glaciers, fjords and snow-capped
peaks where small communities live in isolation upon islands.  It is our desire to reach friends and
neighbors with Christ’s love as local churches demonstrate the gospel message in word and deed.  
As student missionaries, they will the opportunity to help strengthen and expand this ministry.

Terrace Heights Baptist Church, Yakima, Washington, 1 Male, 1 Female Needed

Summer missionaries that serve a Terrace Heights Baptist Church will be trained to serve and lead in
youth ministry.  THBC is located in Yakima, Washington, and has a growing youth ministry that
reaches out to the students of the church and community.  Summer missionaries will be expected to
serve as leaders in our Disciple Now programs, Wednesday night youth group, Centrifuge and other
events that are youth related.  Missionaries will also be key leaders in our church’s Vacation Bible
School, and throughout the summer we will explore what it means to be a spiritual leader.  
Missionaries will work closely with our associate pastor and are expected to be energetic, self-
motivated and have love and desire to work with youth and show them God’s love.

Grand Canyon Baptist Church, Grand Canyon, Arizona, 2 Males, 2 Females Needed

The Resort Ministry of Grand Canyon Baptist Church has a two-fold mission.  One, to influence the
park by holding a full-time job in the local workplace and two, by ministering to those that live locally in
the National Park.  While serving with the Resort Ministry of Grand Canyon Baptist Church you will be
employed by a local business in the National Park (the ministry will secure this position.)  You will have
the opportunity to minister to and share the gospel with management, co-workers and park guests
through lifestyle evangelism.  You will live as godly examples setting moral and ethical standards in
the workplace.  Partnering with Grand Canyon Baptist Church, you will have the opportunity to reach
the community of local residents and summer guests that visit the National Park.  You will have the
opportunity to interact and share the gospel with these guests through lifestyle evangelism, service
projects, eco-tourism and random acts of kindness.  By ministering in this community, you will
strengthen the relationships between the ministry of the church and the national Park Service.  
Serving at Grand Canyon will challenge you, take you out of your comfort zone and grow you in your
walk with the Lord.  You must be willing to work in a challenging environment, maintain long hours on
the job when asked and do all of this with a Christ-like attitude that will impact those whom you interact
with.
NAMB provides supplemental insurance only.
